Chance of rain today, but clear skies tomorrow

An umbrella might be necessary on the first day of the long weekend, but it can be put away on Canada Day.

There is a 30 per cent chance of showers today, and a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

Expect a high of 29 C today and a low of 17 C tonight. Sunday is expected to be bright and sunny with a high of 31 C.

Next week will mostly be sunny, with a chance of rain on Monday and highs in the low 30s on Thursday and Friday.
