Woman charged in connection with Main Street armed bank robbery

Police have identified and charged a 26-year-old woman in connection with an armed bank robbery that happened Thursday.
 
Shortly after 3:00 p.m. Thursday, police were called to a bank in the 500 block of Main Street after reports of a robbery.
 
A lone woman had entered the bank and waited in line, then proceeded to demand money from the bank teller while indicating she had a gun. No gun was seen.
 
The woman obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.
 
On Saturday around 11:00 p.m., police found and arrested the suspect. Members of the Major Crimes Unit are still continuing with the investigation.
 
Destinee Stranger, 26, was charged with armed robbery using a firearm due to her alleged involvement. She remains in custody.
