The Children’s Hospital Foundation will hold its annual book sale next month thanks to help from Winnipeg book lovers.
The foundation had announced last month that its annual book market was in doubt because of a shortage of books.
But book market coordinator Carol Irving said that isn’t a problem now because of response to a plea to the public.
"We now have a mountain of them," Irving said today.
But the book market length will be shortened by starting on Wednesday April 30 and closing on Sunday May 4. The fundraiser is held at the St. Vital Centre.
The book market started in 1961 and has contributed about $7 million towards child health care in Manitoba.
