Chilly forecast today with flurries possible on Thursday

It’s a week before Halloween but the weather forecast is already looking a little scary.

Today’s chilly west wind and high of 6 C precedes a 30 per cent chance of flurries or showers Thursday and a high of 3 C. Friday, there’s a 60 per cent chance of flurries and more below-normal temperatures hovering around 0 C throughout the weekend.

The normal high this time of year in Winnipeg is 7 C. At least some sunshine is expected to break up the gloom Saturday and Sunday.
