City teenager charged with manslaughter in death on Crane River First Nation

Police have arrested a male teen in connection with a homicide in June on Crane River First Nation.

A 17-year-old male was pronounced dead outside a residence on the Crane River First Nation on June 30. An autopsy confirmed the teenager died following an assault.

RCMP and police from Winnipeg and Brandon investigated the death.

A 17-year-old Winnipeg youth was arrested on Wednesday and charged with manslaughter. He is scheduled to appear in provincial court today.
