Clear skies and sunshine on tap

Sunny skies are on the way for August's penultimate Sunday.

The last hurrah of summer continues today with a day of clear skies. Environment Canada's forecast expects a high of 22 C. Although that's not so sizzling, don't skimp on the sunscreen: the UV index today is at 6, which is high.

The sky will stay clear overnight, as the low dips down to 9 C.

The rest of the week is also expected to be sunny and clear, with the forecast predicting a return to higher temperatures, hitting 25 C on Monday and 29 C on Tuesday.
