Cold early-morning temperatures created heavy exhaust fog for motorists.
A high of -12C is anticipated today, along with cloudy skies and snow expected to start this morning or afternoon.
By tonight, the snowfall should end with a low of -18C.
Environment Canada forecasts the clouds should continue Tuesday, with a high of -15C. It should feel like -27 with wind chill.
Wednesday, there's more snow coming, with a high of -11C.
But patience is rewarded with the possibility of some sun by Thursday and Friday, with a high of -11C Thursday and a high of -4C Friday.
And get ready to take to the outdoors...as this coming weekend sunny weather is forecast, with a high of -11C Saturday and a high of -8C Sunday.
