The weekend weather might not be to Winnipeg’s liking, but the city can take solace in the fact the sun will be shining all throughout the work week.
Environment Canada is forecasting a high of 23 C for Saturday, with increasing cloudiness, and showers beginning in the afternoon. Those showers will most likely turn into thunderstorms later in the afternoon. The UV index is at 5 or moderate, so the risk of a sunburn in the storm is still a small possibility.
Sunday will be a little friendlier, with a mix of sun and cloud that will clear late in the evening. The high is forecast at 22 C.
By Monday, when it’s time to go back to work, the sun will be back in full force, with temperatures in the high 20s or low 30s.
