Cold, wet weekend -- but looking better than Monday

It’s foggy out there this morning --- but maybe you’ve already looked out your window and figured that out for yourself.

Nevertheless, Environment Canada says visibility is two kilometres at best, so be careful on the roads.

We’ll have a few showers today, with the high getting up to 17. It’s seven now --- yes, above.

If you’re driving out of province today, conditions look good once the fog clears. Temperatures are expected to be 14 in Grand Forks, N.D. with a chance of some rain, sunny in Regina, Sask. and a high of 15, and 15 in Thunder Bay, Ont. with a 40 per cent chance of showers along the Trans-Canada Highway later this afternoon.

The overnight low in southern Manitoba will only be five, but there’ll be rain tomorrow afternoon, winds up to 70 k/h, and a high of 10, says Environment Canada.

You don’t want to know about Monday, with a high of only plus-1. No, really, you don’t want to know that.
