It's a little too early to eagerly anticipate the weekend.
Maybe that's a good thing because there's not much to look forward to, beyond clear blue skies, for Saturday and Sunday.
But we'll get to that.
For now, Environment Canada is calling for a 30 per cent chance of flurries or rain showers this afternoon, winds south at 40 km/h gusting to 60 km/h and a daytime high of 1 C.
Tonight, the temperatures drops to a low of -7 C.
For Wednesday, expect a mix of sun and cloud and a high of -7 C.
Then we're in for a real chilly treat as the temperature makes a steady decline for the remainder of the week. On Thursday, expect a daytime high of -11 C and an overnight low of -17 C; Friday will be sunny during the day with a high of just -13 C, while the nighttime temperature falls to -17 C.
On Saturday, the sun will be out in full force but will have little effect on the thermometer. The forecasted daytime high Saturday is -18 C.
