A crash involving a school bus and a car south of Holland, Man., has left 10 people with minor injuries.

At approximately 4 p.m., RCMP from Manitou and Treherne were called to the scene of a two-vehicle accident involving a bus and a car on Highway 34 in the R.M. of Lorne. A Prairie Spirit School Division bus was attempting to cross the highway when it was struck by the car.

The school bus tipped over as a result of the collision, police said. The 59-year-old bus driver and six schoolchildren sustained minor injuries.

The 60-year-old driver of the car and two youths who were passengers also sustained minor injuries.

The RCMP deployed its criminal crash investigation team and a forensic collision reconstructionist.
