Colour the weekend grey with showers

WINNIPEG -- Kiss the sunshine goodbye.

Clouds are supposed to roll in to Winnipeg this morning then hang around all weekend, according to Environment Canada.

An east wind and high of 14 C are expected today, with a 60 per cent of chance of showers tonight.

On Saturday, there’s a 30 per cent chance of rain and a high of 14 C forecast, Sunday calls for periods of rain and a high of 11 C, while Monday should be cloudy with a high of 15 C.

Sunshine is supposed to return Tuesday with some clouds and a high of 13 C. Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be sunny and warmer, with highs of 23 C both days, Environment Canada says.
