Country superstar Underwood to appear at 2013 Dauphin CountryFest

Country music superstar Carrie Underwood will headline the Sunday night lineup at the 2013 Dauphin CountryFest, the event's organizers announced today.

The event runs June 27-30, 2013.

Underwood is already slated to perform May 15 in Winnipeg at MTS Centre.

Luke Bryan will anchor the Saturday mainstage lineup at CountryFest, and Dierks Bentley will headline CountryFest's Friday show.

Also on the roster for the 24th edition of CountryFest are Emerson Drive, Kip Moore and Kira Isabella (Friday), Florida Georgia Line and Thompson Square (Saturday) and High Valley (Sunday), leading a weekend lineup that boasts more than 50 acts in total.

Tickets for 2013 CountryFest go on sale Nov. 19 at www.countryfest.ca and 1-800-361-7300.
