Fire damages home, two garages on Morley

A fire at a home on Morley Avenue spread to the garage and the neighbouring garage early Monday morning, a spokesman with the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service said.

There were no injuries in the blaze that began at 247 Morley about 12:50 a.m., spread to the garage and then sparked the garage at 245 Morley.

Two vehicles were also destroyed in the fire.

Damage is estimated at $250,000. The cause of the fire in the Riverview neighbourhood is still being investigated.
