Sunny skies will be bookended with showers today.

Environment Canada is forecasting a few showers this morning followed by a mix of sun and cloud before a 30 per cent chance of showers late this afternoon.

The mercury is predicted to reach 21 C. You should also slap on some sunscreen because the UV index will top out at seven, or high.

Tonight there is a risk of a thunderstorm early in the evening with a 30 per cent chance of showers later in the evening and before morning. The low is predicted to be 9 C.

Monday will see a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of showers in the morning and evening and a high of 23C.

Saturday’s high temperature reached 19.5 C, while normals for this time of year are a high of 23 C and a low of 10 C.
