You know it’s been cold when -20 C with the wind chill seems balmy.
This morning at 8 a.m., Environment Canada reported the temperature was -12 C in Winnipeg with a southwest wind that made it feel like it’s -20 C.
Today’s high is expected to be -10 C, a bit above the normal high of -13 C for this time of year. Periods of light snow are expected today with skies clearing Saturday and a high of -16 C.
Sunday, there’s a 60 per cent chance of flurries with a high of -10 C. On Monday, a high of -21 C is expected.
