Disraeli to be closed this weekend

The Disraeli Bridge will be closed to traffic this weekend for construction.

City of Winnipeg officials said all northbound and southbound lanes will be completely closed to traffic from Friday at 7 p.m. to Monday at 6 a.m. Crews plan to pour concrete on southbound lanes, and northbound lanes will be closed for the first phase of the construction of a pedestrian overpass.

City officials said motorists should use alternate routes such as the Redwood Bridge, Provencher Bridge and Louise Bridge.
