A man was arrested for allegedly driving drunk after a van slammed into an SUV in downtown Winnipeg on Saturday night.

At about 10 p.m. police were called to Waterfront Drive at the Provencher Bridge, where a Dodge Caravan had struck a Toyota RAV4.

Four people who were riding in the Caravan were rushed to hospital with injuries, including some in unstable condition. They were later upgraded to stable condition.
