Driver in hospital after rollover on Osborne Street

  • Print

A man was taken to hospital following a single-car rollover in the South Osborne area overnight.

The incident occurred at approximately 2 a.m. on Osborne Street, just south of the underpass near Confusion Corner.

The driver was taken to hospital in critical condition. A crumpled silver van was still up on the east side curb in front of the River City Car Wash this morning.

It appears the van also collided with a light standard, which was down next to the van.

Police advise motorists to avoid the area this morning. Osborne is closed off to traffic in both directions between Jessie Avenue and Mulvey Avenue as police continue to investigate.
