Driver injured in vehicle rollover

A man is in hospital after becoming pinned underneath his pickup truck.

According to the RCMP, the driver was eastbound on Gunn Road between Redonda Street and the Perimeter Highway in the RM of Springfield at approximately 5:45 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle. He was towing a trailer with a skid steer on it.

The truck rolled and landed on its roof, pinning the driver beneath the vehicle. Witnesses to the accident were able to lift the truck, freeing the driver.

RCMP from Oakbank and Beausejour, along with Winnipeg emergency services personnel were dispatched to the accident.

The driver's condition is not known.
