Drug charges laid after raid on Simcoe home

A Winnipeg woman is in custody following a drug bust earlier this week.

Following an investigation by the Winnipeg Police Service and the Manitoba Justice Safer Neighbourhoods organization, officers executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Simcoe Street Tuesday.

Among the items seized by police include: cocaine, Oxycontin, $2,260 in Canadian funds and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Cherrie-Ann Gunn, 25 is facing numerous drug-related charges.

She is being detained at the Remand Centre.
