Two Lac du Bonnet residents face several charges following a drug bust Saturday, RCMP report.

Lac du Bonnet RCMP searched a home in the RM of Lac du Bonnet Saturday and seized various amounts of cocaine and marijuana as well as scales, a score sheet, drug packaging, firearms, ammunition and other assorted weapons.

Lance Laliberte, 30, and Ashley Payne, 22, both of the RM of Lac du Bonnet, have been charged with assault, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and firearms-related charges.

Both have been remanded in custody and were scheduled to appear in court in Winnipeg on Monday.
