Drugs stolen from pharmacy

Winnipeg police are warning the public after an unknown quantity of drugs was stolen from a pharmacy early Tuesday.

Police said today that officers rushed to the 500 block of Ellice Avenue after being called about the break-in at about 3:30 a.m.

The owner of the pharmacy told police several medications had been stolen, including Diclofenac 75 mg, Cloxacillin 250 mg, Diltiazem and Apo-Diltiaz.

Police are warning people that taking any of the drugs by themselves or with alcohol can be fatal or dangerous.
