Eco-fee charged on tires reduced
The eco-fee charged on new tires for passenger vehicles, light trucks, motorcycles and ATVs will drop 50 cents to $4 starting in 2013.
The eco-fees pay for tire recycling. The reduction in fees more accurately reflects the province-wide collection and recycling costs, said Tire Stewardship Manitoba.
