Manitoba Muslims observing Ramadan are inviting Winnipeggers to join them as they break their sunrise-to-sunset fast at a "fast and furious feast" Friday night.
The July 11 event is a fundraiser in support of Winnipeg Harvest, and the meal organizers dubbed the "fast and furious feast," is provided by Shawarma Khan and the East India Company. Tickets are $25 and available at the door. The feast begins at 9 p.m. at Shawarma Khan restaurant, 225 McDermot Ave. All proceeds go to the Winnipeg Harvest food bank.
