Winnipeg girl, 2, dies in crash near Langruth

A two-year-old girl from Winnipeg died Sunday night in a single-vehicle rollover near Langruth.

RCMP say the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on Highway 50. The vehicle was carrying six people when the collision occurred.

Langruth is west of Lake Manitoba and is about 130 kilometres from Winnipeg.

The little girl's name will not be released.

A woman was airlifted to Winnipeg and remains in hospital with serious injuries, while a five-year-old girl who was also airlifted to hospital is in stable condition.

The driver, identified as a 25-year-old man of Winnipeg, and a woman, both taken to Portage la Prairie for care, are currently listed in stable condition.

A six-year-old girl has since been treated and released.
