Fire guts house in North End

Firefighters raced to control a blaze that gutted an empty North End house on Wednesday night.
Just before 9 p.m., fire crews were called to the scene on Stella Avenue at Parr Street, where an apparently vacant building's back end was engulfed in flames.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze in about 20 minutes.
It's not yet known what caused the fire, though the Arson Strike Force is investigating.
Some residents said they saw several teenagers running away from the building shortly before the flames broke out.
