One man is dead in an afternoon fire in a suburban home in East Kildonan.
Firefighters were called to the home in the first 100 block of Merrill Crescent at about 1 p.m. on Friday.
Navjot Mann, a neighbour to the home, said she’s seen an elderly couple at the property but they are "rarely" there and she wasn’t sure if they lived at the property.
Cause of the fire is still unknown.
