Fires damage vehicles, garbage bin in St. Boniface
Thousands of dollars in damage this morning was caused by three fires that hit vehicles and a garbage bin.
The fires took place this morning between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m., including two vehicles that had $16,000 worth of fire damage at 266 Enfield Cr. and a van lit ablaze at 318 Marion St., causing $18,000 damage. A third bin fire at 318 Marion St. didn’t lead to much damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service Deputy Chief Bill Clark said he couldn’t say if it was arson.
