Winnipeg’s Insect Control Branch fogged for nuisance mosquitoes over night despite heavy rains on Thursday evening.
Most of the planned malathion fogging was carried out overnight, said city spokeswoman Alissa Clark.
Fogging will resume tonight, after 9:30 p.m., in portions of two areas the city did not fog the previous night: Insect Management Areas No. 36 and No. 38, which cover neighbourhoods in St. James.
