Forecast calls for clear, crisp and cold

It's a clear, crisp, cold morning but not as cold as forecast.

Winnipeggers awoke to a -19 Celsius temperature, with negligible wind, not the -28 expected.

However, about two centimetres of snow are forecast, starting later this morning. it will be accompanied by a high of -10.

The light snow will end early evening and then begin again overnight. Temperatures are expected to be steady at -11.

The light snow will end Tuesday morning, accompanied by a high of -9. Wednesday will be sunny and -12; similar highs are expected Thursday and Friday with a good chance of flurries.
