Frosty morning, but sun on the way

Brace yourself --- it’s -6 outside this morning with white frost everywhere the sun hasn’t reached.

Yes, afraid so, that 6 is preceded by a minus sign.

Don't despair for too long, because Environment Canada says we’ll get to 17 today with sun.

It will only drop to 10 tonight -- plus 10 -- and get to 16 Monday, staying in solid double digits all week, including a promised 22 on Thursday. No more minus readings overnight for the rest of the week, says Environment Canada.

Fingers crossed.
