After all the protests, rallies and picking sides, a noon-hour gathering is planned next week in response to the violence in Gaza and Israel, in Ukraine, Syria, Libya, and in many other places around the world.
People of all faiths — and none — are invited to gather for half an hour of silence by the statue of Gandhi near the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
Winnipeg faith groups and human rights organizations are holding a "circle of silent contemplation" Tuesday from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.
