REPLAY: Get a taste of U.S. election fever early at News Café

Obama or Romney?

That’s the question U.S. voters will answer on the first Tuesday of November but Winnipeggers can get a quick baptism by fire on the much-anticipated election on Friday.

That’s when a pair of U.S. political activists – Democrat Linda Moore Forbes and Republican Steven Grand – will appear at the Winnipeg Free Press News Café to debate the issues in a point-counter-point format.

They’ll cover off the primary domestic and foreign policy issues as well as hot-button topics that will impact Canadians.

The News Café event will get under way at 2:30 p.m. It will also be livestreamed at winnipegfreepress.com.
