Glover, Toet trumpet local projects

Federal Tory MPs will be busy Friday with announcements in Winnipeg.

In the morning, St. Boniface MP Shelly Glover "will celebrate" the completion of two projects for the homeless or those at risk of being homeless with an 11 a.m. news conference at 450 Provencher Blvd.

In the afternoon, Elmwood-Transcona MP Lawrence Toet will announce funding support for upgrades to community infrastructure facilities at a 2 p.m. news conference at the Elmwood Legion Branch No. 9, 920 Nairn Ave.
