Grey Cup making a stop in city

Winnipeg Blue Bombers football fans who are hungry to see the Canadian Football League's championship trophy will be able feast their eyes on the historic Grey Cup this week in Minnedosa, Portage la Prairie and Winnipeg.

The Grey Cup, in celebration of the 100th Grey Cup anniversary, is travelling across the country and making stops throughout each province. It will be in Manitoba this Wednesday through Saturday as part of the Manitoba Train Tour.

"The Grey Cup really belongs to every Canadian, so our goal for this special year of the 100th Grey Cup game is to bring it to as many cities, towns and Canadians as we can," Mark Cohon, Commissioner of the Canadian Football League, said in media release.

Below is a schedule of where the Grey Cup will be and how you can see it.

Manitoba Train Tour Schedule

Minnedosa Fan Celebration

Wednesday, October 3rd

11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Main Street North & 2nd Avenue NE

Fans can view and tour the 100 Grey Cup Tour Train.
