Grey, rainy days signal end to dreary week

WINNIPEG -- Let's hope we get the return of the sun today.

But that isn't likely.

Cloudy skies are expected to stay around today, with showers ending this afternoon.

A high of 9 C is anticipated, with partly cloudy skies tonight and a low of 2 C.

On Friday, it will be cloudy again with a 60 per cent of showers and a high of 13 C.

A mix of sun and cloud is anticipated for Saturday, with a high of 13 C.

And Winnipeg Police Service half-marathoners hitting the streets Sunday -- after running through hail last year -- you'll be happy to know the temperature will be a high of 9 C with more cloudy skies. You might even get a refreshing rinse, as there's a 70 per cent chance of showers. It's not all bad.

Next Monday and Tuesday also call for cloudy skies with a chance of showers, but Environment Canada has forecast sunny weather for next Wednesday.

Patience is a virtue, isn't it?
