High of 16C, sunny week expected

You may need pants first thing this morning, but you’ll appreciate the type that zip off into shorts later today when the city hits a high of 16C.

A light wind of 30 km/h will blow this morning and it will be mainly sunny throughout the day. Tonight, expect clear skies beneath all that darkness as things will chill off again with a low of plus 1 expected.

Tuesday, look for clear skies and a mix of sun and cloud in the morning, with a high of 13 later in the day. The light wind will barely blow.

It will be frosty Wednesday morning with a low of minus 1 but warm and sunny later in the day with a high of 18. Thursday, a mix of sun and cloud and a low of 6 should keep the ice off the bird bath, while the high is expected to hit 18.

Friday also looks promising, the low is only expected to dip to 4 and sunny skies and a high of 19 will praise the day. The weekend also looks good with sunshine both Saturday and Sunday and temps in the high teens.
