High of 16C today, warmer weekend ahead
Could this weekend be summer’s last gasp?
After a partly cloudy day with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 16C today, Friday will be sunny with a high of 21C and Saturday will be almost scorching with a high of 28C.
It feels like just two weeks ago that the mercury was in the mid-30s, hey?
But temperatures will cool off to slightly below normal from Sunday – cloudy with a high of 18C – and into next week.
The normal temperature for this time of year is a high of 18C and a low of 6C.
