  • Print

Bestselling author Mary-Ann Kirkby, who spent the first decade of her life on a Hutterite colony and years later reclaimed her heritage in a book titled I Am Hutterite, is coming by the Winnipeg Free Press News Café.

Kirkby will sit down for an interview at 10:30 Monday morning at 237 McDermot Ave. She is on tour to support her latest book, Secrets of a Hutterite Kitchen: Unveiling the Rituals, Traditions and Food of the Hutterite Culture.

Book lovers are encouraged to come out and meet Kirkby and even ask a question or two during the interview.

Later on that evening, she will appear at an event at McNally Robinson Booksellers to speak and sign copies of Secrets of a Hutterite Kitchen.

The event will be livestreamed here.
