Today's bone-chilling temps warmest of the week

It's going to be a frigid one today with bone-chilling wind and a bit of snow, but enjoy it while it lasts — Sunday's frosty temperatures will be the warmest we'll see until Friday.

Today, Environment Canada is calling for light snowfall ending in the early morning and a high of -21 C. With the trusty windchill, however, it'll feel more like -34 C. Tonight, temperatures will drop to -30 C with an extreme wind chill that will make it feel more like -41 C. Skies will be clear with northerly winds blowing up to 20 km/h.

Monday, it's predicted we'll see sunny, clear skies and a high of -26 C and a low of -30 C with predicted northwest winds blowing at 20 km/h. Tuesday will also be sunny with a high of -26 C and a low of -33 C. Wednesday, the cold temperatures will continue with a predicted high of -25 C and a low of -31 C. Skies will be sunny.

Thursday, the cold will let up a bit with a high of -21 C and a low of -31 C. Friday will feel downright balmy with a predicted high of -21 C and a low of just -27 C.
