It's going to be a scorcher today

Break out the sunscreen and the ice-cream, it’s going to be a scorcher today in Winnipeg with a high of 30.

There’s expected to a mix of sun and cloud throughout the day, while winds will pick up in the afternoon gusting from 30 to 50 km/h.

Tonight, the temperature will stay at a comfortable 23, clearing overnight.

The heat wave continues for the rest of the week with a high of 27 and sunny for Wednesday and a high of 28 and sunny for Thursday.

And if you’re stuck indoors all week, don’t worry. It’s expected to be sunny and hot for the weekend too.
