Kelvin Memory Book release delayed

Have you been waiting eagerly for your copy of the Kelvin Memory Book?

The $35 books commemorating the 100th anniversary celebrations of Kelvin High School last spring have been delayed.

Richard Bracken and Jim Pappas, co-chairs of Kelvin 100, said that organizers need more time to pull the book together.

"Riding on the enthusiasm of the reunion in May, we felt sure that we could get this done quickly," they said in a prepared statement.

"A combination of things have impeded the creation of the book. Let’s all realize that every hour of the reunion and the time spent on the book is volunteer. We have not hired an outside firm to create and edit this book. So the announcement is that the book will be slightly delayed in appearing. The reality of the situation is that we need more time than we had anticipated. So all you Kelvinites, be patient, the result will be outstanding," Bracken and Pappas said.
