The price of sin is a little bit higher in Manitoba today. The MLCC increased the price of spirits 47 cents for each 750 ml bottle.
In some cases, suppliers have also made price adjustments. The liquor commission says the cost of a bottle of Absolut Vodka will increase from $24.99 to $25.99 and Ballantine’s Fine Scotch will rise from $25.60 to $26.40.
Tipplers were hit with a $2 hike in the cost of a 12-pack of beer in March.
This is the first time the MLCC has hiked liquor prices since 2010.
