Before her final address as Manitoba’s highest-profile female CEO, Marilyn McLaren visited the Winnipeg Free Press News Café.
The outgoing leader of Manitoba Public Insurance, and the only female CEO of a publicly traded company or Crown Corporation in the province, shared her thoughts on the lack of women in roles of corporate power in Manitoba.
She will give a keynote speech at a Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce luncheon today, entitled "Manitoba Public Insurance – Present and Future," which will reflect her three decades at the Crown Corporation.
