Police arrested a man on Wednesday relative to a string of garage break-ins over the summer in the northwest area of Winnipeg.
The 44-year-old man is facing charges for his alleged involvement in six incidents which occurred between July 29-Sept. 13.
He is charged with breaking and entering in the 800 block of Lansdowne Avenue between July 29-30, the 200 block of McAdam Avenue on Aug. 3, the 900 block of College Ave. and the 600 block of Bannerman Avenue on Aug. 14, the 700 block of College Avenue on Aug. 31 and the 1300 block of Selkirk Avenue on Sept. 13.
The Pawn Unit assisted in identifying the suspect, a 44-year-old man from Winnipeg. He was released on a promise to appear in court.
