Man charged in Flin Flon stabbing death
A 25-year-old Flin Flon man will appear in court Monday, charged with second-degree murder.
Mitchell Whitbread is charged in connection with the death of John Kellighan Eyres, 31, of Flin Flon.
At about 3 a.m. on Friday, police found Eyres stabbed in a home in Flin Flon. He was brought to hospital but died of his injuries, said police in a press release.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday in Winnipeg.
The RCMP Major Crime Services along with the RCMP Winnipeg Forensic Identification Section and members of the Flin Flon RCMP Detachment continue to investigate.
