Man charged in assault on woman and child on Pembina Highway
A 32-year-old man is in custody following an investigation into a serious assault earlier this week on a 46-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl.
The woman and child were attacked late Monday night in the 1500-block of Pembina Highway, after a man – who is known to them both -- forced his way into their residence and attacked them with a weapon and then fled.
Terrence Joseph O’Neil, 32, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, break and enter, possession of a dangerous weapon, and failing to comply with court-ordered conditions.
