A Winnipeg man has been charged with two sexual assaults in the St. Vital Shopping Centre area dating back to January.

Winnipeg Police said Huu Nhut Lee, 30, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of sexual interference.

Police said on Jan. 18, a 19-year-old woman had just gotten off a Transit bus near Fermor Avenue and St. Mary’s Road when another passenger followed her and assaulted her as he walked past.

On May 4, a 13-year-old girl said a man sexually assaulted her as she was entering the mall and the man walked past her.

Police said Lee is being held in custody.
