One man is dead following an accident near Selkirk Thursday afternoon.
The incident took place just after 2:30 p.m. on Colonization Road, east of Highway 59. Selkirk RCMP arrived on scene and found a cement truck tipped over on its side in the west ditch.
The driver, a 41-year-old from the R.M. of St. Clements, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name will not be released.
RCMP indicate the man was wearing his seatbelt and that alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
Manitoba Workplace Health and Safety has been notified and is assisting with the investigation.
